Every person that buys art from the Arhipelag Gallery will receive together with the purchased art work a certificate that guarantees its authenticity, described and individualized with all the necessary characteristics. This Certificate of Authenticity also contains the identity details of the first owner, a table in view of the transmission of the property rights held on the work of art between possible successive owners and the most important extracts of the Romanian Copyright Law.
The Certificate of Authenticity issued by the Arhipelag Gallery fulfills the highest European security standards and represents a necessary document both for the first and following owners, facilitating at the same time the transmission process of the art work.
Among the security measures implemented in the Certificate of Authenticity, elements specific for any securities, we mention: the double-toned watermark of the special paper which also contains three kinds of security fibers having enhanced anti falsification features, the security printing process of the certificates itself, the use of elements like fine line patterns and guilloches, embossed stamp, the use of special security inks like the invisible (UV visible) ink, the original signatures, tri dimensional seal etc.
The Certificate of Authenticity is written in two languages (Romanian and English) and comes together with a special transparent envelope used to attach the certificate on the back of the art piece.
